This week’s challenge focuses on how placement shapes the overall feel of a tattoo.

Clients usually don’t realize how much a design has to shift depending on where it sits on the body.

This one gives them a clear visual.

🕊 The Placement Flow Challenge

Here’s how it works:

  1. Draw a dove. Keep it clean and simple.

  2. Place that design on three different body placements:

    • inner forearm

    • ankle

    • upper arm or shoulder

  3. Adjust the angle and flow for each placement so it actually fits that part of the body.

  4. Under each version, note how placement changes:

    • shape

    • curve

    • readability

    • size

  5. Post all three in a carousel or video so clients can see why placement matters.

Clients often pick a spot based on aesthetic and not flow.

Showing different placement variations can teach them why certain areas need different shapes or more space.

It also shows your eye for composition, which builds trust!

These challenges are open to all tattoo artists, no matter your style or experience. Post your version, tag @the.pangeacollective, and use #PangeaArtistChallenge to get featured!
